We all know that food sustains life, provide energy and promote good health and vitality. We also need to know that it is not readily available everywhere and anywhere. It is very scarce in some homes in many nations. Brethren! Remember the feelings of hunger when you fast . You enjoy good and delicious food because you can afford it , but please endeavor not to waste because other people cannot afford it. You may give the excess to others, or at worst, take the little you can eat . Dear God ! You are the provider! . Please provide all our needs and make us not to be in need because of greed amen. Have a weekend filled with  bounties devoid of waste.

You tried to settle their differences and they turned it against you….Let it go

They slandered you because you were being loved by all….Let it go

They raged war against you because your wage is above theirs….Let it go

You tried to pull them up and they want you down….Let it go

They tried to cause confusion among your family but you decided to stand firmly….Let it go

They see you unhappy and they think its savvy…..Let it go

You leave to live and they are still not satisfied…Just let it go, not because you are a coward but because you love your peace.

Do not hurt a child

It is very hurtful to do that which is bad to kids. If you treat them well or give them hell, they will  definitely tell. They will never forget! It is however very fruitful to do good to kids, because they will forever be faithful and grateful. Remember, every kindness you show to a child will be remembered, and they may do the same. Whatever they see is what they will do.  Brethren! Avoid  hurting anyone, but be more hesitant to hurt children. Dear God! Grant us the strength to be fair to people irrespective of their age, gender, color or status amen.  Have a kids friendly weekend.

Do not suspect others

Suspicion is usually imagination that is not real. Let the situation present itself before you make up your conclusion. Do not suspect anyone. Suspicion is an harmful suggestion. It could lead to bad blood,  envy , backbiting , slander and hatred which can even cause bigger harm. Give every being the benefit of doubt. God knows the deepest thoughts of all. Do not try to read the minds of people, but rather, let them say or act what is in their minds. Dear God! Grant us the ability to tolerate others, accept them for whom they are and forgive their shortcomings, as You forgive us our inequities and inequalities amen. Have a week full of mercy as you relate to others without suspicion.

Be patient with your parents when the tables turn

Mandy, a woman in her early fifties, watched with amazement a mother with her toddler of about 10 months, in a busy metropolitan city of West Africa. The mother sat at the front of a shop to breast feed her pretty baby girl . The toddler was really enjoying the milk from her mama’s breast as evident from her, raising one of her legs up. She was scratching her head with one hand and the other hand tightly held to the mum’s breast. After about 15 minutes, she took a rest from sucking, looking into the mum’s eyes with a big smile, hugging the mum and jumping from the mother’s hand at the same time. The mother put her on the floor,  held one of her hands and slowly released it for her to stand on her feet. They were both excited and smiled at each other. She patiently watched her as she learned to stand by herself.  What an experience!! It is interesting to watch them grow! The big question is whether it will be that interesting to watch the parents age. Folks! Be patient with your parents when they age and learn to walk again. Remember! They were very patient with you when you were young.

Dear God! Grant us the patience and wherewithal to take care of our parents when they grow old. Please take care of them as they took care of us when we were young, and grant those that have passed away eternal rest amen.  Have a parent friendly week.

How beautiful you are will be dependent on how many people you can beautify with what you have. You can only be handsome if you can give a hand to someone in need. Supplicate to your God to make the doing of good easy for you ! Duplicate yourself in kindness by showing and teaching others to be kind. Multiply the number of good people that surrounds you by continuing to do good. Dear God of love! Make me beautiful inside out and make me beautify others from everything that you have endowed me with amen. It’s a beautiful day, it’s a beautiful dawn, it’s a beautiful life and a beautiful world. You can make it so if you think so.

You never know who God is going to use to change your life for good! It does not matter what you are going through. You don’t have to transfer aggression to others. Who can act beyond  a natural or  scientific law!  who can effect an unusual or mysterious event that has defied human understanding! A miracle is only performed by God, the infinite intelligence ; where, when & how He alone knows. Oracle is however performed by man; where, when, how he determines. For a man wanting to perform a miracle is tantamount to equating himself to his creator. Folks! Do not expect any miracle from a man but from the creator of man, but you can only experience it if you believe it.  Dear God!  Please be miraculous on our case and show us mercy and blessing from thyself amen. Start the peace process

When you leave to live doesn’t mean you are a coward, neither does it mean that you are pretending. You are actually strong and can deal with the situation.  You cannot  win every time, but you can leave every time to avoid bad blood, enmity or hatred. Do not allow anyone push you into their siege, rather pull them into your peace, though you are not perfect ! The most important thing however, is to draw the boundary. Remember!  You can only spread peace if you hold your peace and fist. Let peace begin with you. Folks!
