Larry, a middle aged man resides in a metropolitan city, and works as a part time staff with a logistic service company. He does home and office delivery, and very diligent at his work. He will go far and beyond to satisfy his clients. In the evening of a chilling fall month, he went to deliver a parcel to a white male senior. At the door, he pressed the bell and the man suspected to be in his late seventies came out.
Larry: Good evening sir, he said with a big smile. I have a parcel for you
The senior: Good evening. OK. Thank you
Larry handed the parcel to him with all enthusiasm and smile, and the senior received it with a friendly smile.
Larry: Have a great evening sir.
The senior: Were you here last week to deliver a parcel to me?
Larry: Yes I did.
The senior: Please wait for me.
Larry: OK sir.
The senior came out with a big box of 24 inch brand new TV.
Larry: Oh. No sir. You don’t have to do that . I am doing my job.
The senior: Last week when you delivered my parcel, you smiled at me. You did exactly the same today. I appreciate that a lot.
Larry: Thanks sir. May God bless you.
The senior: You are welcome. Please enjoy the rest of your evening.
They had a happy goodbye!
