I share my experience on the 17th of October 2017 at about am. I was driving my daughter and her friend to school, and drove through the very busy Bovaird drive. This is the biggest and busiest road in Brampton, Ontario. There are about 8 lanes, 4 on each side of the East and West. This description becomes necessary for you to picture the number of people that will be on this road at this time of the morning. I was driving on the West side and suddenly noticed a young woman and her daughter on the side walk doing what I will call ” an acting and spectators” scene. The woman was carrying her daughter’s school bag and so I believed she was walking her to the elementary school nearby. The girl will be about 4 yeas old probably in kindergarten. The innocent girl decided to stop and was playing with a tree branch, throwing it up and catching back. The mother stood and was watching her in amazement. I called the attention of my daughter to the scene and asked her this question:
If the mother grows old and the daughter escorts her on this busy road at this same time and the mother suddenly stops to take a rest or do something funny. What would this girl do?
Her response was ” mum stop” She thought I was being weird. From this i learnt the following
1. Be patient with your parents when they grow old. They were more than being patient when you were young
2. They have tolerated your weird and awkward behavior, so do not take it hard on them when they seemingly act weird.
3. No matter what you give them will never equate what they gave you.
4. They never feel embarrassed or fatigued by your attitude, so don’t be annoyed by their similitude.
It is important that a
man be good to his parents, no matter what.

Dear God! Make us obey your command on our parents and make our children replicate us the same way amen

  1. I know our generation is very impatient. if the tables were turned, we probably wouldn’t be so patient with our parent. I pray God grants us with the wisdom and patience we need to replicate the love our parents have shown us. Amen
